Getting Started with NordVPN

  1. Go to nordvpn.com
  2. Click 'Get NordVPN'
  3. Look at the options offered, and pick one. For our purposes, the 'basic' tier is fine. You can choose from a range of subscription lengths.
  4. Proceed to check out and pay. This will involve creating an account. Remember your username and password, you will need these again in a moment.
  5. After you pay, you will be presented with a link to download the application. Download and install it.
  6. Run the NordVPN application. Sign in, using the username and password you just created a moment ago.
  7. If your goal is to say, appear to be located in Norway, then you can go to 'countries' in the bottom of the application window and click on Norway.
  8. When you are done, and want to disconnect from the VPN, click the power button icon in the app (circle with a line, like the power button on a TV remote.)

Important Reminder

Most sweepstakes casino sites are very anti-VPN! Always close any browser windows/tabs that are on sweeps sites *BEFORE* connecting to the VPN. Always make sure your VPN is off before navigating to a sweepstakes casino site. Don't give them any excuses - double check!
